INCREDIBLY CHALLENGING YET..
Easy as ABC 123
A. Affordable Housing 🏡 is Where the H.E.A.R.T. Is
Affordable Housing is Where the H.E.A.R.T. is… Home Equity Accessibility through Residential Tokens, breathes new life into the American Dream freeing up mad liquidity in people’s largest dollar value asset — their home — circulating back into the economy AND getting more people in on real estate appreciation via fractionalization.
- Imagine a true rent-to-own option as a renter. This could enable a live-in fixer upper economy so any renter going above and beyond can add value to their living environs without it being for nothing when they move out. This could improve quality of living and help obliterate blight while making slum-lording a thing of the past. We’d need to incentivize landlords to try the program but if it takes, it could really take people places namely upward in economic mobility.
- Rather than just tokenize the deed of the home on a blockchain as an NFT and call it a day, we would create a multi-sided marketplace with two distinct paths: the current paradigm bringing together real estate agents, insurers and lenders VS. a more decentralized peer-to-peer direct-sale approach that cuts out these middlemen to some degree. This gets more people access to the market without so many fees while affording more peace of mind given that there’s a system/protocol guiding the purchase instead of a patchwork of paper.
- In the rental market, parties could more easily draw up a smart contract rental agreement with the assistance of AI chatbots for parties to better understand, negotiate and rework the contract to suit all parties involved sussing out Token share potential based on sweat equity.
B - Bring Your Own Hollywood, Fixing the 5th Estate of Social Media
B.*Y.O. Hollywood 🤩 Andy Warhol predicted “in the future everyone would have 15 minutes of fame” — now fame and potential fortune all in one internet native media asset known as an NFT. Stories are what bind humanity and up until now, the creator economy has largely served the interests of the major platforms themselves.
- With content creation further democratized, there’s this notion of “MetaMedia” or composable building blocks of media, adaptable across mediums (print, audio, audio-video, virtual reality, etc) that is remixable/adaptable perhaps blurring the lines between gaming and movies thanks to choose-your-own-adventure audience participation and influence.
- This could empower anyone to tell stories in high-fidelity, regardless of budget, in order to push the envelope away from the always safe, mass-market vanilla subject matter, into powerful, niche and non-traditional narratives to better know the meaning of life.
C - Climate Change ♨️ Make C.L.I.M.A.T.E. Cool Again
“Make C.L.I.M.A.T.E. Cool Again” Comprehensive Legislation for Innovative Mitigation and Adaptation to the Environment
VIA
Collaborative, Local Initiatives Making Action Tangible and Effective. Think globally and act locally like Mitch Hedburg: “I’m gonna shave (the world) too..” as someone’s always shaving.
- This here alphanumeric gazpacho of a book largely points to the existential threat of Climate Change along with disinformation thwarting it and unraveling us from within as we sink into the tarpits of infighting and complacency.
- Let’s pull our heads out of the sand or hop out of the proverbial pot of boiling water — whichever metaphor you prefer — the science points to uh-oh. We’re big enough boys and girls to project a longer time-horizon survival instinct into our collective will. But don’t trust the science, verify with (D) DeSci and let’s sell each other on action through (J) Journalism.
The reality here though is we have to build our way out.. we can’t cut the cord on growth and progress just because shit’s heating up. We are on the verge of an energy breakthrough that will stem the tide of global warming. Starting with food waste through “Instant Leftovers” and other inititiaves could move the needle the most and it’s within our control if we work collectively.
D - Decentralized Science (DeSci) vs the current Dark Age
Decentralized Science (DeSci) is more open & collaborative, democratizing the way scientific knowledge is created, validated, and distributed. DeSci breaks down barriers imposed by institutions and publication systems while creating new means of funding research. This can unlock citizen science at scale and get people bought in to initiatives to s(h)ave the world in ways that fit their lifestyle to apply the learnings that science unlocks.
- Utilizing blockchain technology creates tamper-proof records of research data, methodologies, and results hardening it as a source of truth we can act on. More publicly funded projects, micro-grants and community investments would be feasible helping us iterate faster and find clever hacks to mitigate climate change.
- Would provide transparent attribution to all participants, from data collectors to lead researchers while bypassing journal paywalls giving greater freedom of information. Peer review processes would be laid out clearly and transparently on the blockchain to ensure accountability and fairness.
- Allows researchers to control the licensing and use of their work through smart contracts while promoting the sharing of tools, methodologies, and data under open licenses. Could create a virtuous feedback loop of discovery, global-difference from indifference as well as short-term AND long-term economic rewards for all participants.
- Areas of DeSci include Astronomy and Physics, Chemistry, Medical, all manners of Environmental Science: Geology, Oceanography, Meteorology as well as all the Life Sciences from Biology to Botany, Engineering and Math & Computer Science, Social Sciences, Agricultural and Materials Science.
E - Education 📚 Pioneer "School Work" and the S.T.E.A.M. Engine
Education, the S.T.E.A.M. Engine & “School Work” pays kids to learn adding to the GDP not just their GPA via STEM Subjects + Art/Commerce = “We Shave the World.” Let’s build a virtuous feedback loop through a collaborative, open-source curriculum repository with version control. Just “fork” the lesson, make it your own and re-commit improvements.
- Decentralized Commerce, as dubbed by Boson Protocol and others, is an emerging concept of digital-physical products fulfilled in a decentralized manufacturing context. It can take shape when, for instance, a student models a product and “Open Sources” its manufacture for individual use but effectively licenses it via an NFT issued giving others access to files and an order book to take orders and route them as close to the source of demand as possible, solving the last mile distribution problem achieving a decentralized manufacturing system.
- Secondly, an open source crowd sourced curriculum is a major component of wresting away control over what is taught from outdated curriculum providers who charge an arm and a leg and aren’t adaptive. We need a WikiPedia of Curriculum with version control mechanisms and feedback loops from students, parental input where appropriate as well as DeSci (D) findings to remain cutting edge and vibrant.
F - Food Security by Deploying the "Food Chain"
Food Security by deploying “The Food Chain” and fostering mindfulness around food; a platform that would provide transparent and immutable records of the entire food supply chain to trace origins, monitor and improve quality, finally reducing waste to a massive tune — a key ingredient in “Making Climate Cool Again.”
Additionally, by telling better stories around our food we can change our relationship to it, treasuring the act of nourishing our bodies, eating more sensible portions and well rounded diets.
- This enhances trust among producers, distributors, and consumers, ensuring that safe and nutritious food is accessible to all. Food desert mitigation.
- Imagine deploying smart subsidies along the way to smooth over food deserts, get away from monoculture crops and invest in our health and wellness at scale without creating distortions in the market and cabals over time like with corn.
G - Government Spending on a "Public Ledger"
Government “Public Ledger” for Transparency and Citizen Engagement to shed light as disinfectant on opaque bureaucracy to better allocate resources and push power and decision making out to the periphery in a decentralized fashion.
- This could help reimagine the General Services Administration (GSA) purchasing arm of the government driving competition and lowering prices on otherwise lucrative, bloated government contracts fraught with waste.
- This would be a key ingredient in enabling a more direct democracy empowering watch dog groups to take a more active role in actually helping steer government not just talking shit about it to an already overstimulated populace.
Federal Debt rises a Trillion dollars every 100 days now. Fortunately, it’s a Quantum Leap Year in 2028 (see Q). Give me 500 days and we’ll start shaving $1T OFF every 100 days with thrift and ingenuity. See “O” for Open Government and the “Public Ledger” giving the GSA, purchasing arm of the US more leverage to buy smarter.
H - Healthcare, Habit Building & WeHab
Healthcare costs can be alleviated by solving obesity with my “Movement is Medicine” campaign, food desert mitigation via dMail, “Instant Leftovers” and the Food Chain Act. Mental health can be improved with the WeHab pilot program: “No problem? No problem.” WeHab seeks to normalize therapy and serve as an onramp to get a wider cross-section of people seeking services. The major breakthroughs in medicine we’re about to achieve won’t “save us” — individual choices and good habits will. But web3 will break down data silos and put our shiny new AI and Quantum Computing tools to use to crack cancer. Generation X could live to be 100. I shit you not.
- Passing a “HIPPA 2.0” bill to enhance patient privacy while leveraging it securely through zero-knowledge proofs, is a key element in breaking down data silos to put AI to work. Life expectancy will rise as will quality of life for multitudes.
- Imagine a “Movement is Medicine (and extra money)” campaign incentivizing healthy choices and gamifying it through token earning challenges underwritten by insurers saving them dough too. Let’s democratize and normalize mental health through “WeHab” — No problem? No problem. It takes a team to hit your prime, therapy is just part of the mix. Perhaps we build out a proof of concept on wehab.works and stitch together a design for living.
- This letter (H) integrates closely with (D) DeSci protocols focused on the field of medicine as well as (I) for varying forms of identity and (P) elaborating on privacy technology — these two together enable (O) Open-Data Lakes to answer our most vexing questions and even questions we never thought to raise in the first place with unsupervised learning (AI).
- USE CASE: Another potential program could take place on Thrive.eth helping paint a picture of a holistic lifestyle or a more niche proof-of-stretching mini-app called Limber.eth which rewards people for limbering up to start the day.
I - Identity & Reputation Advancements while Preserving Privacy
Identity Advancements; new online-first and portable “decentralized” types of identity, that optionally tie to state issued ID, could unlock tremendous value for people and businesses enabling cross-platform reviews and reputation, streamlining verification processes across services like banking, healthcare, and travel while reducing the risk of identity theft and fraud. Bigger picture, it’ll help create more of a meritocracy while still protecting privacy.
- Turns out, being who you say you are is pretty important in the wake of a generation of rampant identity theft which the government has failed to successfully address. It’s a tough nut to crack but once we make headway in this area in a non-surveillance-state-y way, it serves as a key ingredient in restoring trust in the public discourse, as an information “hardening” agent — improving information’s veracity.
- The accrual of recognition and reputation is a critical resource in lubricating the economy as exercising good judgement will become one of the currencies of tomorrow along with varying means of acquiring education (and subsequent credentials) which in a sense, help make you who you are, not just where you’re born like some old-ass caste system bullshit.
J - Journalism Reinvented with the 72-Hour News Cycle via Kin's TV & Repair
Journalism will never be the same with prediction markets and “old news.” The 4th Estate was never that accurate to begin with. Now trusted data feeds or “oracles” give journalists not just a beat but a heartbeat to markets, movements and the machinations of power when combined with (O) Open Government protocols and prediction markets where people put their money where their mouth is on world events; game changer.
You may have seen my “Kin’s TV & Repair” bit or heard some of it by calling 419-KIN-VOTE. It’s silly, but seriously.. this could turn the tide in the disinformation age we find ourselves in.
Part of the problem is that the business model of news was broken by the internet. Fewer actual journalists exist in the wild and even their resources are spread too thin to effectively do the reporting necessary to keep us informed. The internet, when I was a kid, was billed as the “information superhighway.” Yet we just paved paradise and put up a paywall block.
How can we fund journalism and yet get it for free? Sounds impossible right? Well, not anymore!
Introducing the Free P.R.E.S.S. which stands for Public Reporting and Engagement Support System along with a new concept I call the 72-Hour News Cycle.
One of the pre-requisites for achieving the Free P.R.E.S.S. will mean breaking up Big Tech to some extent or twisting their arms to roll up specifically marked public-facing comments into a single public town square, visible without having to login, where people can “attest” to things. You can help “break news” however big or small. We need to break down the walled gardens of the web to some extent in order to form a collective hive mind of what’s actually going on here so we can make the most of right now. Think of it as a “veracity gauge” using a combination of technologies to codify reality as to help us ascertain the true from the false.
That brings us to this notion of the 72-Hour News Cycle, a combination of “old news,” real-time happenings and “prediction markets.” Some say history always repeats itself, others say it doesn’t repeat, but it rhymes. The key takeway is that if we don’t learn from our past, we’re doomed to repeat its mistakes. We now have the technology to filter news and everyday goings on, through the lens of the past in order to gain key insights into what’s coming next all through a conversation aided by technology that could reduce our time spent staring at screens, yet help us become better informed. By continuously learning from each previous day, all the way back through to the annals of history, every day could have compound returns on your individual potential and our collective intelligence and output. That all culminates in us putting our money where our mouth is and betting on a better future through prediction markets. We can WILL a better world into existence this way, shortening feedback loops on what’s working and what’s not by creating economic rewards for people who can effectively predict the future. Humans hate uncertainty. Let’s take control of our future.
Part of these newfound economic spoils will go toward funding journalism as a public good.
- More accurate data fed into cross-disciplinary working groups with subject matter experts as Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs, see “W” for Work 2.0) we can make more sense of what’s happening now, better position for likely future outcomes as foretold in these newfangled Prediction Markets like Polymarket to which Nate Silver is a board member of, and better avoid the mistakes of the past.
- Minting stories as NFTs on a tamper resistant immutable ledger enshrines our best version of reality to date while creating a living thread of the story, where, if gotten wrong, doesn’t just get a 10pt font size “correction” at the bottom of the story that totally changes the nature of the story, it adapts and develops over time with a web of inter-related stories and traceable sources so readers can trust but verify.
- Decentralized tools give sources (i.e. leakers) more protection helping harden the veracity of information and allow it to flow more freely when vital to the public discourse, no matter how controversial.
- Blockchains are built for lasting millennia, this has huge ramifications over a long time horizon effectively meaning the victors of wars can no longer re-write history to their liking. This is the stuff of truth and justice in the fight for reality itself amid rampant misinformation and the coming wave of ever more fucked up and realistic deepfakes.
- We could finally bridge the disconnect between the traditional press or “4th estate” and the voice of the people made up of democratized publishing and blogging outlets or the so called “5th estate” and usher in a Free and Open Press with more engaged concerned citizens you might call gumshoes.eth and a means of crowdfunding stories
K - Killings Have to Stop, WeHab is a Small Step Toward Better Mental Health
Killings have to stop. I don’t wish to infringe upon the 2nd amendment. I also wish we weren’t spraying lead indiscriminately. Prohibition approaches though may just drive a market for “ghost guns.” Instead, redirection initiatives and WeHab mental health services will play into a broader campaign to reach the lone wolf with love.
Surely there’s a bit of slack to tighten up in terms of gun control, but heavy handed regulation is (pun regretfully intended) going to backfire. Think back to alchohol prohibition. Let’s see.. did that work? It just made it go underground and caused more harm than good. With the advent of “ghost guns” that can be printed these regulations won’t work.
There are scores of gun enthusiasts, sportsmen and women and collectors who relish in this stuff. I grew up in a hunting household. My dad used to wake me up before heading out to hunt with “It’s daylight in the swamp.” It was never daylight.. a good 90 minutes before the crack of dawn rather as we made our way to our stand. My dad’s dad would wake him up with the same line. It’s a tradition.
Traditional methods to curb the violence will not suffice. We gotta get creative here. We need to cross disparate domains and skill/passion share to build understanding of where people are coming from. Plus, it’s fun to try new things. Maybe some hunters haven’t gardened. Maybe some gardeners haven’t hunted. Perhaps cross-pollinating these two camps and doing a documentary on what they learned, enjoyed, liked or disliked about the other experience could teach us something. Hell, maybe we can find a way to combine the two and shoot/plant trees into the hills or some shit. I don’t know. I’m just saying this one is going to require emotional disarmament first and foremost as we fold this conversation into the broader mental health crisis dialogue.
L - Land Management & the H.E.I.R. program. Homeland Expansion for Intergenerational Resilience
Land Management & the H.E.I.R. program, Homeland Expansion for Intergenerational Resilience is a vision to shore up the national debt by making the most of the greatest wealth transfer in history from our beloved Boomers thru hybrid land trust smart contracts.
This program offers a path for our beloved Boomers to cement their legacy with a sweetheart deal turning part of their estate into a State carving up the likes of California into Calivada (CA + NV) or Arkahoma (AR + OK). A 250 Year Lease on up to 100M+ acres of public lands to combat debt.
M - Money & The Digital Gold Standard Through the "Honest Abe Act"
Money is a story with a promise in it. The Honest Abe Act will save the dollar from its impending demise via “The Digital Gold Standard.” I have a clever way of pulling it off without sacrificing privacy, or require some hasty transition away from physical money. Hint: Save your pennies.
N - Nationalize the Lottery for "Public Good L.U.C.K."
Nationalize the Lottery for Public Good L.U.C.K. which means Lottery Underwriting for Collective Knowledge, a new federal lottery system with skills based games that add value to the national interest of innovation. Don’t just play the odds do the math to increase your chances.
It’s a vision for a public goods lottery system with increased odds of winning when participants pool tickets (tokens) and compete in skills based games together via DeSci (D) protocol contests.
- What if we made the lottery not some dumb-ass degenerate driven racket that feeds off the poor and instead geared it toward something more wholesome, visionary and productive?
- By galvanizing the best and brightest minds to solve vexing problems and marrying that to others’ risk-taking gambling side, we can fund research, suss out solutions and all win!
- Buy lottery “tokens” rather than pick random numbers, pick a problem and hypothesis or delegate that decision to “LUCK-E” Expert(s) working groups. Join their ranks by crowdsourcing data or otherwise participate to increase odds of winning and payout.
- Part of ticket (token) sales helps fund the Quantum Leap Year Innovation prize, the culmination of 4-year bodies of research coming out of DeSci.
- Think DeSci crossovers on protocols like Mathlete.eth, Spaceage.eth, Riverbank.eth, Happyclam.eth, Specimen.eth platforms.
O - Oceans of Data Available in Privacy Preserving Ways
Oceans of Data are now accessible, in privacy preserving ways, with decentralized tech enabling AI to surface insights. On the consumer-side, we’re going from Tracking Cookies to “Baking M.U.F.F.I.N.S.” Monetized User-Focused Feedback Information Systems.
-
Zero-knowledge are a consent-respecting, privacy-preserving way of having our data cake and eating it too. This allows data mining also known as “Big Data” for Artificial Intelligence models to surface new insights we’re searching for as well as ones we stumble across, that are “emergent” via unsupervised learning.
-
Closely related to Open Data is user-monetized input, in contexts like online browsing where we might be going from Tracking Cookies to “Baking M.U.F.F.I.N.S.” standing for Monetized User-Focused Feedback Information Systems a permission-marketing paradigm to enable “mass customization” — what would otherwise be an oxymoron, now a reality with higher quality goods feasible through AI chatbots that help articulate, visualize and design products. It’s like we’re able to ask people what they want and actually make it — what a concept for marketers — we can now listen to and respond to unique preferences at scale.
P - Prison Industrial Complex R.E.B.O.O.T. going from Shivs to Shark Tank
R.E.B.O.O.T.: Rehabilitation, Education, Business Ownership & Opportunity Training
Let’s transform the prison system from a warehouse of wasted potential into a high-stakes, high-impact “Shawshank Redemption Incubator” for the formerly incarcerated. Every eligible individual undergoes a complete life overhaul through a mix of AI-powered education, real-world apprenticeships, entrepreneurship challenges, civic restitution, and live-in community repair programs.
This is a tech-accelerated, dignity-driven alternative to incarceration that trades bars for balance, and punishment for productive reintegration.
🔁 Core Pillars
🧠 Radical Education Tracks
Every participant receives a custom curriculum through AI tutors tailored to their learning style. Courses range from cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness to coding, trades, finance, or storytelling. The goal: become job-ready or startup-ready within 12 months.
🛠️ Prison as Co-Lab (Not Cell Block)
Facilities are converted into maker villages—solar-powered campuses with live prototyping labs, art studios, micro-farms, and startup pods. Inmates contribute to community-based solutions: retrofitting public housing, coding civic tools, making furniture, or editing AI training data.
🏙️ Earn & Own: Sweat Equity Tokenization
Time served equals equity earned. Through tracked contributions (via blockchain), inmates build stake in public-benefit projects, startups, or retrofitted housing they help design. Leave with housing credits or business equity instead of debt and a rap sheet.
🎭 Restorative Storytelling and Civic Redemption
Participants are trained to publicly document their arc via podcast, docu-series, or digital journal. Redemption is made visible, and participants engage directly with those impacted by their crimes (when appropriate), building a path toward forgiveness and reintegration.
🎮 Gamified Growth and Social Bonds
Progress is visualized through a profile—like an RPG character sheet. Skills, civic credits, emotional growth, and mentorship levels unlock real-world privileges (phone time, group meals, supervised furloughs, etc). It becomes cool to level up.
🛰️ Add-Ons and Big Swings
1. Satellite Pods
Mobile rehabilitation “satellite pods” are deployed in rural areas or border zones, housing low-risk offenders while contributing to public works or infrastructure projects.
2. “Crypto Commutations”
Good actors can request early release through public votes backed by staked “trust tokens” from their families or communities. Abuse = token slashed. Reform = incentivized.
3. Inside-Out VC Fund
A venture fund crowdsources capital for prison-incubated ideas. Shark Tank meets Second Chances. Those who show promise are funded, supported, and mentored from within.
Q - Quantum Leap Year Innovation & Application & Patent Reform Bill
Introduce a Quantum Leap Year Innovation and Application Prize but with a Patent Reform Bill baked in that adapts and grows with the pace of innovation in and of itself. We can now write “living laws” as smart contracts that adapt with the times.
R - Regenerative Finance Systems to Bank the Unbanked
ReFi, Regenerative Finance is geared specifically toward rectifying imbalances in economic systems — like trying to make good on Decentralized Finances’s (DeFi) original claim that it could bank the unbanked. Knowledge is power, with capital to boot it’s hella powerful now that everyone has an AI chatbot democratizing access to information in their pockets. Together, we could “grade the playing field” as outlined in the “Maslow’s Topology” page.
S - Sharing & Caring Economy of Stuff & Service with a Story
Sharing & Caring Economy goes beyond just rideshare and home rentals, forever changing our relationship to stuff, increasing utilization not just by sharing random shit, but by telling better stories and selling a Lifestyle by Design.
- It’s what comes after mindless consumption and re-introduces some semblance of a gift economy. All this possible by cataloging our stuff and issuing digital twins on newly manufactured goods that goes into your virtual inventory.
- This could lengthen the life of durable products that improve our lives, while strengthening ties in our community.
- If enough people subscribe to this means of Living a Tokenized Life, if you will, we could unlock the next great chapter in the Sharing Economy while enabling what might come to be thought of as DeCommerce, decentralized manufacturing, barter and gift economy.
- If we do it right this time around, this new layer of abstraction of stuff could grant us remarkable levels of personal freedom while eschewing the “Bitch of Necessity.” (net -0 burden innovation)
- What are the persons, places, things and ideas surround the shit? (let’s call these shit-nouns). These are what tell the shit’s story and make relics out of the ordinary instead of rubbish.
T - Tech Monopoly Busting & Go from Tracking Cookies to "Baking M.U.F.F.I.N.S."
Tech regulations to reclaim our data (the new oil) will take us from Tracking “Cookies” to Baking M.U.F.F.I.N.S. Monetized User-Focused Feedback Information Systems a permission-marketing paradigm to make “mass customization” a reality and higher quality goods feasible.
We start by regulating the pixel.. which drops the cookies onto your device that track you around the web. This could help supercharge the economy while delivering higher quality goods that genuinely improve people’s lives and foster community in the making.
U - Universal Basic Income via U.B.I.Q.U.I.T.E.E. Economic Engagement Program
Universal Basic Income (U.B.I.Q.U.I.T.E.E.) Qualified for Upon Initiative, Training/Travel and Economic Engagement aims to help people find drive, balance and purpose in life, see new places, pursue knowledge and other virtues in an era where Artificial Intelligence (AI) may displace many economically ALL WHILE not becoming a burdensome tax on the rest of us working.
- U.B.I.Q.U.I.T.E.E. attempts to solve Job Displacement caused by AI as well as what let’s call the Matrix-Dole-Conundrum where bots take our jobs, then comes free money, cheap available drugs and a glut of quality entertainment with the metaverse catching on, effectively bricking us, atrophying in our haptic suits, devoid of contribution to society.
- Part of the concept hinges on a convergence with (L) Land Management and the idea that self-driving cars might create more urban sprawl alongside telecommuting (+metaverse adoption) making near proximity to city-centers less important. Create a new traveling class of people who build culturally vibrant, self-sufficient remote satellite cities and we’ve hatched a new way to enable Manifest Destiny 2.0 making good on H.E.I.R. programs to “settle” more land and grow the economy exponentially eventually accommodating One Billion Americans Strong. We must dream big and make moves to move the needle here.
- Another wrinkle to getting UBI right is to fight what I call “The Bitch of Necessity” wherein a new technology improves our standard of living, like the automobile, but then creates all sorts of new necessities to make it work perhaps making it not worth the trouble come to think of it 100 years later. Of course, the car is nice to have but the maintenance, oye vaye. What I’m suggesting is we approach (A) affordable housing as “Shelter Technology” in order to keep the “Bitch of Necessity” at bay and make Universal Basic Income just enough to eek out a subsistence, but one where people are actually happy not just longing for more. A key part of achieving this sense of satisfaction lies in (S) the Sharing & Caring economy introducing a degree of a Gift Economy to help us derive more meaning in life from less.
V - Vote on Anything Anywhere, Anytime with "Dollars and Sense" in the dMail USPS App
Vote on Anything, Anywhere, Anytime with “Dollars and Sense” via D.E.M.O.S. standing for Decentralized, Evolutionary, Model for and Management of an Open Society. Along with (G) a Governmental Public Ledger for transparency — we can re-assert our power with un-hackable, ranked voting moving us closer to a direct democracy through web3 signatures and attestations.
- Greek for “people or population” DEMOS could rekindle the spirit of democracy in an era where China threatens to upend its vibrance and disprove its hypothesis.
- I’m a web3 revolutionary damn it and there will be no half stepping. We must truly shift power to the people while retaining the merits of representative government.
- We will seize the memes 🙂 utilize NFTs and Public Ledgers to issue RFPs (requests for proposals) that effectively cast sunlight as disinfectant on the GSA (General Services Administration), the purchasing arm of the government, driving competition and lowering costs for radical transparency in a DeCommerce context.
W - Work 2.0 or “Brave New Work”
Work 2.0 or “Brave New Work” means wearing multiple “hats” not just what we think of as traditional jobs. This can be both a humbling and empowering exercise of trading places and adding value even where it’s “not your job.” Damn right this isn’t a job. Redefining work takes place through Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs), the new structure of clubs, companies, cooperatives, consortia, even countries — in order to better coordinate.
- Imagine tackling new problems, seeing the world anew on a regular basis instead of the groundhogs day of normal work paradigms.
- In conjunction with the earlier notions of Lifestyle Design in the (S) Sharing & Caring Economy and the (U) Universal Basic Income concept we can reinvent work as a tapestry that forms a safety net in itself, its very fibers made of education and love through art.
- Participants contribute to various projects based on their skills and interests, earning tokens or cryptocurrency as compensation. This flexible model allows for diversified income streams, greater autonomy, and the ability to impact multiple ventures simultaneously. DAOs facilitate collaboration without hierarchical structures, adapting to the evolving nature of work in the digital economy.
X - Xenophobia in all its forms. We need to "Bridge the Great Big Misunderstanding"
Xenophobia in all its forms, will be defeated by ART, bridging “The Great Big Misunderstanding.” What if that’s all this is.. a big misunderstanding — all war, hatred, fear. My aunt Susy told me “Art Can Save the World.” I believed her then and I know it now.
We can now bridge “The Great Big Misunderstanding.” I know how we can cross it and if not make peace, sell it. Culture is a kind of treasure to share with one another.
- Memes are units of culture, reference points we share —stories — and art is a mighty fine meme, regardless of medium. Through its creation and consumption it can help us cope with and make sense of the world, reminding us what matters maybe where not to take things too seriously either.
- Art that adapts with the world around it and can be more easily interpreted through technology (uploading a pic of art to a chatbot and asking questions) can create a cultural kaleidoscope of empathy in order to heal, forgive and relate.
Y - Youth Programs that support Elder R.E.S.P.E.C.T.
Youth & Elder Program: L.E.G.A.C.Y. T.I.M.E. Legacies Exchanged, Generations Aligned in Community Yesterday and Today, Inspiring the Meaning Economy ” — seeking Intergenerational Knowledge Exchange codified into NFTs for the sake of posterity and composability with a deeper knowledge base and cultural artifacts of consequence. It also aims to add further depth to the Sharing & Caring economy to change our relationship to stuff.
- Capture the story of stuff as things are handed down (digital will and cataloging). Familytree.eth (Families can create NFTs representing family history, preserving stories and photos on the blockchain)
Somewhere along the lines we stopped respecting our elders and it’s a true loss for youth, as elders carry wisdom and experience that isn’t readily accepted, but rather becomes the subject of mockery. We can curb that attitude and show our elders respect in every way by letting them show us what they can still do.
Combine the E.L.D.E.R. care framework to youth programs to bridge generational divide while engendering respect for elders as well as the precocious young guns out there who should be treated like any other human being and not talked down to.
Z - Zero Waste 🗑️ "Don't believe in garbage."
Zero Waste “Don’t Believe in Garbage”. This disposable lifestyle is trash. I used to sell $10K trash cans to Donald Trump and I don’t even believe in garbage. All I see are resources. Let’s rethink packaging from the ground up.
Carbon tokenization with sequestration incentives on the industrial side, consumer facing efforts include a so called Cradle-to-Cradle Product Lifecycle Management system leveraging the Internet of Shit concept into packaging deposit schemes and NFTs to gamify and reward recycling and up-cycling as well as shed light on repair/repurpose opportunities before landfilling items.
